Partner Offers Program
Ontario’s Southwest (OSW) invites you to participate in our upcoming Beer, Wine & Culinary (BWC) and Waterfront Campaigns for 2016. Offers will be published on OntariosSouthwest.com and traffic will be pushed to these offers with multi-channel digital campaigns. The target markets for these campaigns are nearby US States, Michigan, Ohio, and Western New York, the GTA, and Southern Ontario markets outside of Ontario’s Southwest. The BWC campaign will be in market year-round beginning in mid-May and the Waterfront campaign will be in market from June to September of this year.
How You Can Participate
An integral part of the campaign is the call-to-action to the consumer in the form of tourism product offers that will be promoted on OntariosSouthwest.com and linked to the operator’s website for fulfillment. We are looking for you, the tourism operator, to supply these offers and deals for inclusion in this campaign. We encourage you to participate, at no cost to you, and to leverage this investment to help drive traffic to your business. Each industry partner will be permitted to submit up to 5 unique offers for inclusion in the campaign. Please note: that the deadline to respond for inclusion in the campaigns are as follows:

Partner Offer Program Results from Previous Campaigns
Throughout the year, Ontario’s Southwest participates in consumer events to promote the region as a travel destination. At each show, we aim to put together a Ontario’s Southwest pavilion with tourism operators and partners to make a region-wide impact. Additionally, by attending shows as a group, participating partners could receive access to savings on booth prices and add-ons. These add-on items vary by show and are determined on a show-by-show basis based on the number of partners involved. Currently, the following opportunities are available:
London Beer & BBQ Show – June 17th-19th, 2016 – Western Fair District, London
Showcasing the many fine craft breweries from across Southwest Ontario and pairing them with outstanding foods & BBQ prepared by a variety of grill masters from local & area restaurants makes the London Beer & BBQ show one of the must attend events of the summer. Ontario’s Southwest will look to put together a pavilion at the show for a third year in a row at this growing show. Discounted booth pricing may be just one of the items available for partners looking to participate in the region pavilion. The booths will be located in a high traffic area next to a lounge. At this time booth cost is $500.00+HST for 10’x10′ booth, there may be additional saving based on the number of interested partners. More information to come shortly.

Are you a tourism business owner in Southwestern Ontario? Are you holding a major tourism event that will draw thousands of visitors to the region? You could qualify to list your business or event on our regional tourism website: OntariosSouthwest.com. Please see the Guidelines and Criteria for Submissions to see if your submission meets the set guidelines. Only those submissions meeting the set guidelines will be posted on the regional tourism website. Please send all submissions to JT Uppal.
Ontario Travel Online Package Opportunity
Entering packages for ontariotravel.net is a simple process. Log in to www.tourismpartners.com, click on the “Manage Packages” link at the bottom of the page, and work through the flow. It is very user friendly and prompts you for all required information. Links to the package criteria and guidelines are included in the flow – take a look at them before starting to enter your information. Each package must be accompanied by a single image that reflects the consumer experience (minimum 1920 x 800 pixels, maximum 4 MB). Also, please ensure that the URL that you provide is a link to where consumers can find complete details and pricing of the package on your site, not to your home page.
Once a package is entered it takes about five business days for it to be reviewed, approved and translated before it goes live on the site. Packages are removed from the site once the “End Date” has passed but remain in your account; you can edit existing packages or add new ones at any time. Even if you do not have packages that align with this particular theme, this is a good time to review your packages and make any necessary edits or add new offers.

2016-17 Online Packages Opportunity: Ontario Fall Weekends Campaign
The upcoming Ontario Fall Weekends campaign encourages our primary target audience, couples travelling without children from Ontario and the U.S. (New York, Pennsylvania and Michigan), to unearth their passions and go beyond the known, to be stimulated by Ontario’s local stories of unexpected hidden gems. The campaign launches early in September and will run through to mid-November 2016.
Online travel packages that align with the campaign’s theme and support the editorial content will not only display in their respective experience pages on the site, but also be flagged so that they are linked to this campaign. There will be a particular focus on packages for the following experiences:
* Food/Drink * Fall Colour Tours
* Arts/Culture * Outdoor Adventures
* Urban Adventures * Shopping
* Spa/Wellness * Festivals/Events/Live Music
The opportunity to post criteria-based packages is available to industry partners free of charge. If you are interested in submitting a package for consideration, please do so by the deadline of May 26, 2016.
