Partner Offers Program
Ontario’s Southwest (OSW) invites you to participate in our upcoming Beer, Wine & Culinary (BWC) and Waterfront Campaigns for 2016. Offers will be published on OntariosSouthwest.com and traffic will be pushed to these offers with multi-channel digital campaigns. The target markets for these campaigns are nearby US States, Michigan, Ohio, and Western New York, the GTA, and Southern Ontario markets outside of Ontario’s Southwest. The BWC campaign will be in market year-round beginning in mid-May and the Waterfront campaign will be in market from June to September of this year.
How You Can Participate
An integral part of the campaign is the call-to-action to the consumer in the form of tourism product offers that will be promoted on OntariosSouthwest.com and linked to the operator’s website for fulfillment. We are looking for you, the tourism operator, to supply these offers and deals for inclusion in this campaign. We encourage you to participate, at no cost to you, and to leverage this investment to help drive traffic to your business. Each industry partner will be permitted to submit up to 5 unique offers for inclusion in the campaign.

Are you a tourism business owner in Southwestern Ontario? Are you holding a major tourism event that will draw thousands of visitors to the region? You could qualify to list your business or event on our regional tourism website: OntariosSouthwest.com. Please see the Guidelines and Criteria for Submissions to see if your submission meets the set guidelines. Only those submissions meeting the set guidelines will be posted on the regional tourism website. Please send all submissions to JT Uppal.
Ontario Travel Winter Content Opportunity
OTMPC is seeking your suggestions for experiences and products to consider as they develop our editorial and content for OntarioTravel.net and beyond? Scheduled to be in-market mid-November through to the end of March 2017, OTMPC is looking to inspire consumers early in the season to give the gift of an Ontario getaway; and long into the new year, to book an unforgettable experience from an indoor or outdoor winter getaway, to festivals, show tickets and more.
OTMPC is looking for new or notable products and experiences in your area that would be a great inclusion for a winter gift or getaway, which could be used as content within owned and earned channels: the website (content and itineraries), media relations, digital and social media, e-mail, etc. Information you provided last year will be utilized, but they are also looking for new additions to their inventory.
OTMPC is specifically looking for editorial suggestions of new, notable, unique, surprising, or unexpected in the following categories:
- Festivals & Events (indoor and outdoor, seasonal, family-oriented and for adults)
- Outdoor Adventures (dog sledding, cross-country and downhill skiing, snowshoeing, ice climbing, snowboarding, tubing, etc.)
- Ice Fishing
- Food & Drink (great new restaurants, vintages and brews, foodie tours, etc.)
- Arts & Culture (next season’s theatrical getaways, new museum exhibits, Indigenous experiences)
- Shopping (local, Ontario-made products are great)
- Great Places to Stay (new, upgraded or unique accommodations)
- Spas & Wellness
To be considered for winter content, submit suggestions, along with any supporting images, by Thursday September 29 to Kathy Marcelline at email@example.com.
Consumers can use winter 3- to 4-day suggested itineraries on www.ontariotravel.net, and customize or create their own using the Trip Planner tool. These digital tools are dependent on businesses, and festivals & events being listed on the ontariotravel.net site.
Ontario Travel Online Package Opportunity
Entering packages for ontariotravel.net is a simple process. Log in to www.tourismpartners.com, click on the “Manage Packages” link at the bottom of the page, and work through the flow. It is very user friendly and prompts you for all required information. Links to the package criteria and guidelines are included in the flow – take a look at them before starting to enter your information. Each package must be accompanied by a single image that reflects the consumer experience (minimum 1920 x 800 pixels, maximum 4 MB). Also, please ensure that the URL that you provide is a link to where consumers can find complete details and pricing of the package on your site, not to your home page.
Once a package is entered it takes about five business days for it to be reviewed, approved and translated before it goes live on the site. Packages are removed from the site once the “End Date” has passed but remain in your account; you can edit existing packages or add new ones at any time. Even if you do not have packages that align with this particular theme, this is a good time to review your packages and make any necessary edits or add new offers.
