Kyra Knapp-Cole
Kyra Knapp-Cole created Kyra Lyn Photography in 2018. Then in 2020, as a result of Covid, social awareness, personal growth and transformation, and a desire to make a positive difference, Kyra decided to explore further opportunities. Her broad range of experience from tourism and municipal government to grant writing and economic development had formed a strong network of like-minded entrepreneurs and community partners. Although passionate about photography, what truly inspired Kyra was her work with Indigenous communities/partners, not-for-profits, and small businesses that prioritize making a positive impact on people's lives. Kyra began using her experience to help these organizations advance their dreams and goals, and word of her services quickly spread. By 2022, Kyra had built up a strong client base and in March of that year, she incorporated her new pursuit, KLB Consulting (KLB), after recognizing this newfound work as her life's passion.
Since then she has devoted her time, energy, and soul to KLB and has gathered a group of passionate, skilled, and loyal employees and subcontractors to support her rapidly growing company. At the heart of KLB are their value principles: they prioritize humility, respect, and equity, and graciously embrace the responsibility to serve their clients in ways that will regenerate and sustain these values. KLB’s vision is a more equitable world where economic development and regenerative, equitable, and inclusive practices work together in harmony. Their mission is to provide organizations, Nations and entrepreneurs with the holistic, customized, end-to-end support they need to realize their big dreams. The KLB team works with business owners and developers to transform dreams and ideas into tangible experiences and results. The team comprises Economic Development and Experiential Tourism professionals with a wide range of experience, knowledge, and industry connections. KLB aims to provide their clients with better business opportunities and financial support through grant writing initiatives and funding opportunities.
