The Southwest Ontario Tourism Corporation is the provincially mandated Regional Tourism Organization for Ontario’s Southwest (also known as Region 1). It replaces the former Transition Network Team.

The Board of Directors of the Southwest Ontario Tourism Corporation held its inaugural meeting on February 24, 2011, in Port Dover. Pictured at the Lambton Heritage Museum are the Directors including Doug Puddicombe, Steve Martin, Karen Matthews, Wendie Dupuis, Lori Da Silva, Dave Barnier, Grace McGartland, Jeannine Cookson, Adriano Ciotoli and Ken Whiteford.

The organization is now publicly branded as “Ontario’s Southwest”.

In June, 2012, Southwest Ontario Tourism Corporation held its first Annual General Meeting in London.  A formal announcement was made at the meeting regarding the appointment of three new board members, Jeannine Cookson, Steve Martin and Adriano Ciotoli, all serving a mix of terms from one to three years.  The three new board members are replacing outgoing board members Joe Drummond, Tim Fitzgerald, and John Liedtke.
